We’re often asked if we can create a model of a specific place outside our collection.
Technically, yes. But not in a way that always meets our standards.
Most 3D city models you see are based purely on generated datasets. While these can look detailed at first glance, they often lack accuracy, depth, and consistency when you look closer.
At CITYFRAMES, this is only the starting point.
Every city in our collection goes through a detailed manual refinement process. Our 3D team reworks the data, enhances key structures, corrects imperfections, and ensures that the final model meets the same level of precision as the rest of our collection.
This process takes time and expertise. It is the reason our models feel consistent, clean, and intentional, rather than generated.
Because of this, we offer custom models only for selected locations — places where the available 3D data already meets the standard we hold ourselves to. Where we’re confident the result lives up to the rest of our collection, you can create your own model from the exact spot you choose. Whatever the location, the on-screen preview shows your model exactly as it will be made, so you can judge it for yourself before you order.
When custom locations make sense
For larger quantities, such as corporate gifts or special projects, the initial data creation effort can be distributed across multiple models. This makes custom cities a practical and efficient option.

For a single piece, you can create it yourself in our custom configurator. If your location isn’t one we cover to our standard yet, the data work for a true one-off is typically several times higher than the model itself — so reach out and we’ll advise on what’s possible.
