We’re often asked if we can create a model of a specific place outside our collection.
Technically, yes. But not in a way that meets our standards.
Most 3D city models you see are based purely on generated datasets. While these can look detailed at first glance, they often lack accuracy, depth, and consistency when you look closer.
At CITYFRAMES, this is only the starting point.
Every city we offer goes through a detailed manual refinement process. Our 3D team reworks the data, enhances key structures, corrects imperfections, and ensures that the final model meets the same level of precision as the rest of our collection.
This process takes time and expertise. It is the reason our models feel consistent, clean, and intentional, rather than generated.
Because of this, we don’t offer quick or automated custom models. Doing so would mean compromising on quality, and that’s not something we’re willing to do.
When custom locations make sense
For larger quantities, such as corporate gifts or special projects, the initial data creation effort can be distributed across multiple models. This makes custom cities a practical and efficient option.

For a single custom piece, the data creation cost is typically several times higher than the model itself. This reflects the amount of work required to meet our quality standards.
