What are the dimensions?
The dimensions vary by size, with detailed measurements provided on each product page.

What materials are used for the production of the models?
Our models are made of a plastic based on corn starch. The material has a matte, slightly rough finish resulting in a plaster-like surface. 
The frame is made from solid, black painted wood.

Are all cities in the same scale?
The scale varies from city to city. Choosing different scales for each city ensures that all cities are compatible with each other. For example, with our adjusted scales, you can place Venice, known for its small alleys, right next to Dubai, home to the world's tallest skyscraper. 

Do the models align with true north?
Yes, our models are oriented to true north, ensuring geographical accuracy and a true-to-life representation of each city.

How do I hang my model on the wall?
A CUBE is light enough to hang by its frame on a nail or screw suited to your wall. FRAME and GRAND have mounting brackets built into the back, and a GRAND can be hung horizontally or vertically.

How do you get your 3D data?
The creation of our 3D data is a unique process. Learn more about CITYSCULPT.

Can I buy only your 3D data?
Our digital 3D data is not for sale, unfortunately. You’re very welcome to check out our partner shop for digital STL files: www.3dcitymodel.com
Kindly note that these files are not as detailed and accurate as our own datasets created with CitySculpt.

Are all cities available in all sizes?
Every city in our collection is available as a CUBE. Selected cities are also available as FRAME, GRAND or BLOK; each city page shows its formats. 

How can I place an order?
Orders can be placed through our website. Simply select your city and size and proceed to checkout.

Where do you ship?
We ship worldwide.

How are the 3D Cities packed and protected during delivery?
Each 3D City is placed inside a specialized product packaging.
To ensure stability, the 3D City and its frame are securely positioned using a combination of cardboard, foam, and styrofoam.

How do I receive my 3D city?
Within Germany we ship with DHL, internationally with UPS, always with tracking. Delivery times and cost will be calculated at checkout depending on your shipping destination country and order weight. 

Are your products in stock?
Every model is made by hand in Germany. CUBEs from our collection are usually in stock. For every model, the product page shows the planned shipping date.

Can I make my order a gift?
Add a gift note in your cart and we print your message on a card. If you would like the invoice left out of the parcel, send us a short message to mail@cityframes.de after ordering.

How can I return my order?
Send us a message directly to mail@cityframes.de and we will send you the instructions for your return.

How much time do I have to return my order?
Returns need to be made within 14 days after delivery.

How should I clean and maintain the model?
Just blow-dry the 3D City with cold air or use a soft, dry cloth for water parts. Avoid using water or cleaning agents that could damage the materials. For more informations see our Cleaning Guide.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept various payment methods, including credit cards and PayPal.

How do you ensure the security of my personal information?
