About the FRAME
The FRAME brings your city to the wall. Larger than the CUBE, more detailed in scale, and designed as a framed architectural portrait, it turns a meaningful place into a clean and lasting wall piece.
First introduced in 2019 and now refined with the same CitySculpt process used for our GRAND models, every FRAME is built from high precision 3D data and carefully optimized by hand. Streets, buildings, and city textures are enhanced to create a clear, readable miniature with more depth and presence than our compact formats.
At 64 x 64 cm, the FRAME is large enough to be appreciated from across the room, yet balanced enough for living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, offices, and gallery walls.
Some FRAME models include magnetic landmark buildings, allowing selected delicate or raised details to be attached with precision and replaced individually if needed.
The result is a refined city portrait. Made for your wall, built to last, and designed to keep a place close.

Materials
Crafted from a biodegradable, corn-based material, each model features a distinctive matte surface with a subtle, plaster-like texture. The carefully developed white tone is not a pure white, but a soft, curated shade designed to enhance depth, light, and shadow, bringing out the finest details of the cityscape.
Together with a solid black-painted wood frame, the materials are chosen to create a precise and timeless architectural look.

The quality of a city model begins with its data.
At CITYFRAMES, every model is built using our own CitySculpt process, a combination of high-quality source data and extensive manual refinement. Instead of relying on generic map data, we carefully reconstruct each area to achieve a level of clarity, accuracy, and consistency that standard datasets simply can't provide.
Buildings are positioned with high precision, details are selectively enhanced, and each city is optimized to create a clean, readable miniature that still feels true to the real place.
The result is 3D data designed specifically for physical models, not just visualizations.

Each FRAME is shipped in a thick cardboard box designed for safe transport. Inside, the model is secured with internal foam protection and additional corner protection to protect both the city and the solid wood frame during shipping.
The package is also wrapped in protective foil to help shield it from rain and moisture while in transit.
The result is practical, robust packaging that keeps the FRAME well protected from our production to your wall.
Mounting
The FRAME can be displayed either on a wall or placed on a surface, giving you flexibility in how it becomes part of your space.
Each solid wood frame comes with mounting brackets on the back, allowing it to be hung securely and cleanly on the wall.
For safe installation, we recommend using strong screws with suitable wall plugs for your wall type. If you are unsure, please seek professional assistance to ensure secure mounting.
Care
Caring for your FRAME is simple. A gentle stream of air removes dust from the model, while the frame can be maintained with a soft cloth. Learn more in our Cleaning Guide.
Designed to last, custom magnetic fittings hold larger buildings securely in place while allowing them to be easily removed and replaced if needed. This ensures precise alignment, lasting durability, and peace of mind over time.
