What Are Magnetic Exchange Buildings?
Selected CUBE models feature removable architectural elements that connect securely through an integrated magnetic system. These are usually the tallest, most fragile, or most exposed parts of the model, such as fine towers, narrow structures, or elements with thin antennas.
The magnetic connection keeps these parts securely in place while allowing them to be removed and reattached when needed.
Why Magnetic?
The magnetic system is designed to make the model more durable, easier to handle, and safer to ship. Delicate parts can be packed more securely, reducing the risk of damage during transport.
If one of these elements ever breaks, only the affected part can be replaced instead of the entire model. This helps preserve the model's original look for years to come.
It also allows for more efficient packaging. A smaller shipping box means less packaging material, lower shipping volume, and in many cases more cost efficient delivery for the customer.

Showcase and protect your city model with a display cover. Available in acrylic or premium float glass (for CUBE only). The cover locks in place simply by gravity and the slightly taller edge buildings—no clips or tools required.
- Always Dust-free: Keep every tiny spire and facade sparkling
- Crystal-clear view: Enjoy an unobstructed view of every detail
- Ultimate Protection: Protect your 3D City from dust, fingerprints, and accidental damage.
How to Attach

Your favorite city in 3D
More than a place on a map, a CITYFRAMES model turns a memory, moment, or connection into something you can keep.
Compact enough for desks, shelves, or sideboards, it can also be wall-mounted. Subtle enough to fit in, distinctive enough to start a conversation.
And as a gift, it arrives ready to give: personal, thoughtful, and made to mean something.
Trusted by 10k+ customers in over 90 countries
Matte, like plaster
Crafted from a corn-based material, each model features a distinctive matte surface with a subtle, plaster-like texture. The carefully developed white tone is not a pure white, but a soft, curated shade designed to enhance depth, light, and shadow, bringing out the finest details of the cityscape.
Together with a solid black-painted wood frame, the materials are chosen to create a precise and timeless architectural look.
Refined by hand
The quality of a city model begins with its data.
At CITYFRAMES, every model is built using our own CitySculpt process, a combination of high-quality source data and extensive manual refinement. Instead of relying on generic map data, we carefully reconstruct each area to achieve a level of clarity, accuracy, and consistency that standard datasets simply can't provide.
The result is 3D data designed specifically for physical models, not just visualizations.

Minimalist, elegant, and tasteful. I will be getting more to add to my collection!
